I took the afternoon yesterday to spend some time with a dear friend, and I remembered this quote that I have always enjoyed about friendship.

BZ, I loved your comments and quotes on friends and friendship on your posts.
I once asked my two young granddaughters what the most important thing was in their lives. Both said, “Friends.”
I do a daily syndicated feature for newspapers called Happy Musings (King Features). These are little life thoughts with accompanying art, not unlike a cartoon visually. I post them daily. Many of the Musings are about friends. One of my favorites states: “It only takes one good friend to fill a room.”
