your inner voice is your guide from worrying to stress relief

Following your inner compass, your inner voice will pull you to the present moment, away from worrying and give you lasting stress relief from the pressures you are feeling.

“What lies behind us, and what lies before us
are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

NOW is the only real moment you can affect in your life!
“The past is history.  The future’s a mystery. The present is perfect…that’s why they call it a gift.” So why do we spend so much time ruminating over could-a, should-a, would-a’s?

We worry of the future and spend little if any time thinking about RIGHT NOW.
I believe this thinking may exist in part for two reasons: we received this modeling as children and we live in fast-paced world.  Humans naturally strive to improve and move forward with the current of change.

Change is good as long as we don’t loose ourselves in the rush of the changing tides and rapid flow of the water through life.

I don’t believe you need to change and become someone better.

You don’t need to improve and become someone different than you already are.  I believe you need to shed the extra layers that no longer serve you.

These layers were given to you by someone or you covered yourself with them.  You must uncover who you really are, what is really important to you, and what you want to bring to the world.

It’s an very important perspective to ponder much like how Leonardo DaVinci could look at a piece of stone and see the sculpture within…peeling away the layers and polishing until the magnificent inner core emerged.

You, too, have the power and creativity to reveal your inner core… polishing to reveal your unique brilliance. This means you already have the talents and a powerful inner compass to fill your soul and fire your creativity.

Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “Most of us go to our graves with our music still inside us.”

What song do you feel compelled to sing?
