
Things are changing very rapidly in our world.
The global shift that is occurring is affecting each of us in different ways. Feeling like we are caught up in the swirling of emotional stress brought on by negative conversations or doom and gloom headlines is bombarding our thinking mind every day.
We are not our thoughts, but we forget that and we get caught up and carried back into emotional stress all over again.You read articles on the power of positive thinking, you hear segments on oprah or other shows about the power of positive thinking and what it might do for you…
But when you are caught up in the emotional stress of all the changes going on in our world right now its just hard to focus on ways to learn how to use the power of positive thinking.
That’s one of the things that trips us up and makes us fall flat, drowning in our emotional stress-
Thinking that we need to learn how to use the power of positive thinking… like it is a new technique or tool we need to master and devote our mind power to incorporate into our daily routine.
The Truth is the power of positive thinking is innate to you. It is the way your subconscious mind is wired. The power of the mind is naturally predisposed to positive thinking.
Without the stories we learn to tell of emotional stress, of fear of failing or not being able to get buy… the stories we tell ourselves and identify with about having to struggle, that scarcity is really the norm not abundance… Without those stories positive thinking is the normal groove that our mind power runs in.
You can turn the innate mind switch of the power of positive thinking back on with a shift in how you move through your day.
Small adjustments you can make every day:
~ When you think about changing your attitude, improving it, think about your state of mind and also about how you carry yourself. Buy making improvements in both types of attitude you can really change your outlook and the energy you flow to the people and situations you attract to yourself.
~ When you get up in the morning make a quick mental rundown of the things you will be doing. Take note of any that you describe in a negative way or any meetings or situations that are scheduled that are all ready making you feel uncomfortable or unsettled.
Clear out those poor attitudes and mentally review your schedule one more time putting a positive spin on the things you will do that day.
~ Successful people often look like they have an edge, they seem to dress well, and look comfortable in their surrounds. Speaking in a clear and persuasive manner seems to be so natural for them.
It is, in part because they have decided to take charge of their situation and to live a positive attitude in their mind and their body language.
~ In each situation that comes up at work or at play look for ways to be cooperative and helpful. Work together to approach new challenges and projects with a cooperative spirit. Adapt to changes that are occurring and work together to resolve issues or conflicts that may arise.
~ Always reach a little further. Challenge yourself to learn a new skill expand a current hobby or take some classes to develop an interest you have. Use the talent you have to your full potential and be open to learning new things from the people around you.
~ If you do suffer a set back, let go of it. Learn what you can so you can improve next time but don’t keep rehashing the old news. Changing your attitude to look at the positive side of every situation is the best thing you could ever learn to do.
~ Learn to recognize and accept when your plate is full and say NO. Whether its projects at the office, community volunteer projects, or personal projects learn to see when your plate is full and stop trying to cram one more thing on there because you think you should or you feel guilty.
~ If no is not an option yes is not a choice. If you can learn to do this and have a positive mind and body outlook you will be several steps ahead of the game and really enjoy yourself.
Making small adjustments in how you look at things, how you react, how you use your language and body language to communicate the story of your life. Will get your thinking mind out of the negative leaning rut it has carved and back on track to its natural disposition of positive thinking.
