You choose your reactions and interaction with the experiences in
your life.
If your emotions and feelings are on auto pilot, simply just habitual reactions… then you are still choosing but you are not doing it consciously.
You have the power to choose how you feel.
This is a success “truth” and a scientific tenant in power of subconscious mind and mind power studies.
A common thread that runs through people’s lives is the habit of saying that someone made them feel bad, or angry, or hurt… This is a serious road block to your success and your real happiness.
It is a habit of giving your power away-
You are in essence taking the power of your mind and the inspired success mindset you are wanting to develop and locking it in the limiting belief dungeon every time you think and feel these kinds of thoughts.
Eleanor Roosevelt said it brilliantly
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
“In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves.
The process never ends until we die.
And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.”
Your emotions and feelings are very powerful tools in aligning the commanding focus of your inspired mindset.
It is a universal law that you get what you think and feel and focus on. It’s helpful to be conscious of the power of your emotions and feelings.
Have you ever stopped to realize how often each day you let someone else determine how you are feeling?
Even if you think it is just something you say like “she made me feel dumb” or “he makes me feel angry”… and then just brush it off because you didn’t really mean it and you don’t really feel that way.
When you say it out loud or when you think it “speak it” in your mind those words have power and they set the energy in your thought patterns.
Think about it- no one can make you feel a certain way.
They can’t get inside your head, they can’t exert control over your thought patterns or brain synapses.
Only you can do that. But in your bad habit or unconscious habit of saying that they make you feel a certain way. You are releasing the leverage and magnificent control that you have over your mind and the powerful attraction magnets that you posses which are your emotions and feelings.
I think we do this because it’s a cultural bad habit. Its something we heard growing up and we just kept up the old patterns of sloppy thinking and have carried it into our adult lives.
It’s very important to realize this and consciously choose to clean up this bad habit. Because it is having a profound negative affect on your success mindset and the results that you really want to attract into your life, business and relationships.
“You choose how you feel;
no one else can make you feel a way you do not want to feel.
So choose to feel and speak in the language of success.”
Questions to tap into choosing emotions and feelings:
Check in with yourself using these questions and then set a course for an inspired uplifting attitude. You will draw great energy and opportunities to you, I guarantee it!
What do you focus on, the things you don’t want or the things you want?
What kind of a mood are you usually in, up beat, blasé, grumpy?
Are you choosing how you feel and using the power of those thoughts as leverage to create greater success moment by moment in your life?
Ask yourself
Have I mastered my emotions and feelings so that I can feel good without having to change the conditions around me?
Do I know someone who has mastered this, who feels happy and good regardless of external conditions and seems to really be thriving in their life?
Ever noticed how if things are going bad there seems to be a lot of “bad” things happening all at once and the same when “good” things are happening.
We get what we put our focus, intent, and good feeling emotions on. Be a deliberate creator of your reality and success- focus on what you want.
Put your attention on your mood each day, focus on the positive emotions and feelings in your life and refrain from giving energy or attention to the things in your life you don’t want.

I totally agree with this blog, except when I don’t. I know it sounds odd, but there is a touch of conflict in me with these ideas. Also when I read the book “You Can Heal Yourself” by Louise Hay, I thought that I need to suspend my disbelief. I want to believe and I do feel better when I change my thinking patterns. I wonder how long it takes to change the genetic makeup I have been creating since I came to this world. Do you think some of the attitudes or thought patterns could be stored in different layers of the body, different cells, different systems?
Choice
That’s one of my favorite words. It a word that gives me power. I know the feeling of powerlessness all too well. But now when I face an issue as I know I well with life I always say to myself what is my choice. I focus on things I want rather then what I don’t want.
