When you speak with others do you say what you think they want to hear or do you express your authentic voice?
This question holds for when you speak to yourself too - either in your head or out loud…
When you speak with your authentic voice, you are coming from an expression of how you are feeling from a place of being centered, empowered and connected to the truth of who you really are.
The communication is direct and honest but does not come across harsh or in a judgmental way. You are speaking from your heart and are inspired by the passion and power within that makes you the unique and special person you are.
Whether people agree with you or not they will appreciate this kind of communication and be attracted to the honesty in it.
Remembering how to really listen when you ask a question or have a conversation and hearing from a heart centered place will allow you to pick up on their authentic voice even if it is faint and covered up by the habit of shallow communication.
You can practice expressing your authentic voice by first discovering what is really important to you. What do you like, what makes you feel good, inspired, excited, peaceful, joyful, empowered…
If you like something then communicate that, if you prefer something else from what the person you are speaking with has suggested then tell them but let go of the need to be right, just let them know it’s how you feel.
Be generally interested in how they feel about what is important to them. This will put a very different authentic energy into your conversations and communications.
When you have a conversation today – set the intention to come from your authentic voice before you connect with the person. Tap into your empowered self and “hear” what they are communicating to you.
